Meeting of the Deputy Minister of economic development and trade with the permanent representative of the UNDP in the Republic of Tajikistan

On December 20, 2019, at the Ministry of economic development and trade, Deputy Minister Mr. Tojiddin Jurazod met with the UN permanent coordinator/Permanent representative of the UNDP in the Republic of Tajikistan Mrs. Pratibha Mehta.

At the beginning of the meeting, Tojiddin Jurazoda expressed satisfaction with the effective cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the UN, including the UNDP.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the directions of cooperation for the upcoming year, including the development of the "Medium-term development program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025", which is the second stage of the mechanism of implementation of the "National development strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030".

They also discussed the allocation of technical support, the attraction of international and local experts to get involved in the development of  the "Medium-term development program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025".

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their confidence for further fruitful cooperation development.
