Ceremonial Meeting in Honor of National Unity Day on June 26
In 2025, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade held a ceremonial meeting with the participation of the leadership and staff of the central office to commemorate the 28th anniversary of National Unity Day.
The meeting was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mr. Solehzoda A.A., who warmly congratulated those in attendance on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of National Unity Day in his opening speech.
Mr. Solehzoda emphasized that all the achievements of the independence era, as well as the unity and integrity of the nation, are directly linked to the fruitful efforts, determination, and strong will of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Honorable Emomali Rahmon. Thanks to this, our country has achieved remarkable success in sustainable development and in ensuring a decent standard of living for the people of Tajikistan.
The First Deputy Minister also spoke about the significance and importance of national unity, the restoration of peace and security in the republic, the necessity of protecting the hard-earned peace and unity, and the crucial role of the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord in uniting the Tajik people, safeguarding the territorial integrity of Tajikistan, and enhancing the country’s international standing. He emphasized that these foundations have enabled Tajikistan to advance and achieve notable political, economic, and cultural progress.
Also speaking at the event was the Deputy Head of Department — Head of the Social Sector Development Division, Ms. Odinazoda Mohtobbi, who highlighted the unprecedented role of National Unity in the socio-economic development of Tajikistan.
In conclusion, Ministry employees were instructed to remain politically and socially vigilant and to continue striving to protect and strengthen the achievements of national unity both professionally and personally.
