Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the Permanent Representative of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Tajikistan

  

On June 10, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nasriddinzoda Rukhshona Hikmatullo and the Permanent Representative of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Tajikistan Viktor Lutenko.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the ILO, as well as prospects for implementing joint programs and initiatives aimed at promoting decent employment, developing human capital, increasing labor productivity and formalizing informal employment.

Particular attention was paid to the integration of decent work standards into national strategic documents, as well as support for employment programs for youth, women and vulnerable groups. The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to the ILO for technical support within the framework of the country's program documents and emphasized the importance of further interaction for sustainable economic growth.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to continue coordinating efforts to achieve productive employment and decent work for all, as well as to expand institutional capacity in the field of employment and labor relations.
