Meeting of the Interagency Headquarters for Coordinating the Implementation of Macroeconomic Policy and Preventing the Impact of Potential Risks on the National Economy

  

On April 10, 2025, in accordance with the directives and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, a regular meeting of the Interagency Headquarters for Coordinating the Implementation of Macroeconomic Policy and Preventing the Impact of Potential Risks on the National Economy was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Minister Solikhzoda A. A., and focused on the topic "Identifying Key Directions for Improving the Investment Climate in the Country and Ways to Attract Investments."

 

At the beginning of the meeting, Solehzoda A. A. noted that based on the constructive and creative policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, the investment climate in Tajikistan has improved, and the attraction of direct investments into economic and social sectors has increased year by year, playing a significant role in ensuring the sustainable development of the country. However, ministries and agencies still have a lot of work to do in attracting foreign direct investments to achieve the goals and priorities of the Government.

During the meeting, a report was presented by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Investments and State Property Management, Yusufzoda F.Y. It was noted that the Committee has taken a number of necessary measures to improve the investment climate and attract investments, and is working together with relevant ministries and agencies to eliminate administrative and artificial barriers in this area.

At the end of the meeting, decisions were made based on the issues raised by the headquarters.
