Overview of the Prospective Key Indicators of Socio-Economic Development of the Ministry of Transport, Energy and Water Resources, Agriculture, and the Executive Committee of the City of Dushanbe for 2026 and Key Parameters for 2027-2028
On March 28, 2025, in accordance with the requirements of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan's decree dated October 1, 2024, No. 92-f, a review of the main indicators of socio-economic development for 2026 and its key parameters for 2027-2028 was held at the ministry with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Executive Committee of the City of Dushanbe.
The meeting was opened by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Vosidiyon Farhod Sa'dullo, who noted that the purpose of the meeting is to ensure the qualitative implementation of the directives and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, aimed at finding new sources of growth, improving the living standards and quality of life for the population, ensuring food security, effectively utilizing existing opportunities and resources, launching new capacities, and activating current capacities, as well as ensuring the overall economic development of the country.
It was also emphasized that when developing prospective indicators for socio-economic development for 2026 and key parameters for 2027-2028, the provisions of strategic planning documents must be taken into account. In this process, the Deputy Minister of Transport — Saidmurodzoda Shoista, Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources — Safarzoda Manuchehr, Deputy Minister of Agriculture — Nigina Anvari, and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of Dushanbe — Abdurakhmonzoda Abdurakhmon Safarali presented the main indicators of socio-economic development for 2026 and key parameters for 2027-2028.
After the presentations, the proposed indicators were reviewed, and corresponding decisions were made based on the results of the meeting.
According to the approved work plan, on April 2, 2025, the main indicators for key sectors such as education and science, healthcare and social protection, labor, migration and employment, as well as industry, new technologies, and investments will be presented and discussed.
