Festive meeting in honor of "Mother's Day"

Today, a solemn meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in honor of Mother’s Day with the participation of management and employees of the central office.

The meeting was started with a congratulatory speech by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and noted that on the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the declaration of Mother’s Day as an official public holiday in our country is a clear indication of the high status and position women in our society.

It then highlighted the valuable contributions of women in all aspects of life, including the socio-economic development of the country, recalling the words of the respected leader of the nation:

“The mother connects the cradle and the world and with her pure soul and heart strives for the existence of the child, prosperity at home and peace in society.”

The mother opens the doors of science and education for the child, that is, she is the child’s first teacher and works tirelessly for the sake of peace and stability of the family, society and state.

At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the ministry once again wholeheartedly congratulated the women of the ministry and in their person the proud mothers, sisters and daughters of the country on the advent of the significant holiday of Mother's Day - a holiday that personifies greenery and beauty.
