On the sideline of the "Ancient Culture Studies: the Past and the Present" International Symposium, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the representatives of foreign scientific community and creative intelligentsia. The meeting took place in the National Library of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon opened the "Ancient Culture Studies: the Past and the Present" International Symposium. The head of state made a welcoming speech at the symposium’s opening ceremony, which is taking place in the National Library of Tajikistan through October 23. The representatives of domestic and foreign scientific community and creative intelligentsia were invited to the event.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Viacheslav Volodin, who is in Tajikistan on an official visit. The meeting took place in the Palace of the Nation.
