On 13 October 2016 in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mr. Umed Davlatzod and the Deputy Director of International Cooperation Agency Mr. Ki Kyung Seok. 

On 12 October 2016 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan was held a regular meeting of the ministers responsible for foreign economic cooperation and external trade of the Member States of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which was attended by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda.

Today in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held the fifth meeting of the Committee for Cooperation between the European Union and Tajikistan, which was attended by a large number of representatives from both sides.
