Overview of Prospective Key Indicators in the Sectors of Industry, Health Care, Social Protection, Education and Science, Agriculture, Labor, Migration and Employment, as well as Investments for 2026 and Main Parameters for 2027-2028

On April 2, 2025, in accordance with the requirements of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan's decree dated October 1, 2024, No. 92-f, a presentation of the prospective indicators for socio-economic development for 2026 and the main parameters for 2027-2028 took place at the ministry. This event involved representatives from the ministries of industry and new technologies, health and social protection, education and science, agriculture, labor, migration and employment, as well as the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management.

 

The meeting was opened by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Vosidiyon Farhod Sa'dullo, who noted that the purpose of the meeting was to ensure the effective implementation of the directives and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon. This includes seeking new sources of growth, improving living standards and quality of life for the population, ensuring food security, effectively utilizing available opportunities and resources, launching new capacities, activating existing capacities, and overall ensuring the economic development of the country.

It was emphasized that while developing the forecast indicators for socio-economic development for 2026 and its main parameters for 2027-2028, it is necessary to consider the provisions of strategic planning documents. The first deputy minister of industry and new technologies, Kurbonzoda Isodjon Yatim; the first deputy chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management, Yusufzoda Farrukh Yusuf; the deputy minister of health and social protection, Amirzoda Abduholik Amir; the deputy minister of education and science, Muzaffarzoda Badriddin; the deputy minister of agriculture, Nigina Anvari; and the deputy minister of labor, migration and employment, Nodiri Shahnoza Anvar presented forecasts for key indicators for 2026 and its main parameters for 2027-2028.

After the presentation, the proposed indicators were reviewed, and corresponding decisions were made based on the results of the meeting.
