Meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the Head of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD)

Within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which takes place on May 2-3, 2024 in the city of Tashkent of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Salehzoda Ashurboy Abduvohid with the Head of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD ) Hani Salem Sonbol.

At the meeting, Solehzoda A. A. spoke about the country’s export potential and called on the Head of this organization to implement priority projects in the field of development of value chains in agriculture, simplification of trade procedures and construction of logistics centers, introduction of renewable energy sources, development of the private sector and e-commerce in Republic of Tajikistan.

In turn, the Head of the corporation, Mr. Hani Salem Sonbol, expressed his readiness to support projects in these areas, as well as to further strengthen cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and implement the issues noted.
