The Minister of Economic Development and Trade discussed with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group (AD Ports Group) the issue of creating a logistics, transit and export center for goods

On February 29, 2024, in the city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, within the framework of the 13th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO), a meeting was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and the General Director of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group (AD Ports Group) Mohammad Juma Al Shamisi.

Zavqizoda Z. A. emphasizing the huge transit, logistics capabilities and export of goods of the country, called on the General Director of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group to finance the creation of a logistics, transport and export center of goods in the city of Dushanbe, which was welcomed by him.

Zavqizoda Z. A. also expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of this company with Avesto Group LLC.

It should be noted that the Abu Dhabi Ports Group company offers more than 20 types of transit, logistics and digital services in emerging markets around the world, has opened its representative office in 26 countries, and employs more than 9,000 people.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand trade and economic cooperation.
