The Minister of Economic Development and Trade discussed with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund the issue of raising funds for the construction project of the Roghun hydroelectric power station

On February 28, 2024, in the city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, within the framework of the 13th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO), a meeting was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi.

It was noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policies of the leaders of the two states, especially the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the level of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates, including the Abu Dhabi Development Fund, has reached a high level and today it is developing in all areas.

Zavqizoda Z. A. emphasizing the great energy potential of the country, especially green energy, called on the General Director of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund to finance the construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power station and solar and wind power plants, which was well received.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand trade and economic cooperation.
