The draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Invention” was adopted at a meeting of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan

On October 11, 2023, at the regular meeting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, sixth convocation, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Invention” was considered.

Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin presented the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Invention” and noted that this project was developed in order to harmonize with the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On normative legal acts”, “on state duty” and “on other obligatory payments to the budget.”

It was noted that the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Invention” was approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 31, 2023, No. 412 and submitted for approval to the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli.

Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan unanimously supported the adoption of the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Invention”.

It should be noted that over the 32 years of the country’s independence, 17,586 units of protection documents were issued to inventors and entrepreneurs, including 15,556 units of trademark certificates, 1,417 units of firstborn, 508 units of invention patents and 105 units of industrial design patents.
