Solemn meeting dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

On September 6, 2023, a solemn meeting in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with the participation of the leadership and employees of the central office.

Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zaqki Amin opened the meeting with an introductory speech and sincerely congratulated those present on the upcoming holiday of State Independence.

Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that all the achievements of the period of independence are connected precisely with the fruitful activity and strong will of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, thanks to whom the state has achieved unique successes in the direction of sustainable development and ensuring a decent life for the Tajik people.

In particular, regardless of the influence of external factors, as a result of the successful implementation of state strategies and programs, in just 22 years of state independence, the gross domestic product increased 64 times, the gross domestic product per capita increased 32 times, and the monetary income of the population 101 times. During the period of independence, the poverty rate decreased from 83% to 22.5%, 3,430 new educational institutions, 2,827 new medical institutions, more than 2,400 km of roads and more than 2,000 megawatts of new energy capacity were built.

The Ministry's employees were instructed not to lose political vigilance and security and constantly strive to protect and strengthen the achievements of State independence in their work and personal activities.

At the end of the event, a number of employees of the Ministry were awarded by the leadership for their worthy contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.
