Meeting with the Regional Director of the German Development Bank in Central Asia

Today, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin met with the Regional Director of the German Development Bank in Central Asia Andreas Schneider.

Zavqizoda Z.A. noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, relations between the two countries have reached a qualitatively new level.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the implementation of a number of ongoing projects and discussed issues of attracting grants for regional development, infrastructure and mitigation of the negative impact of climate change on the country.

Zavqizoda Z.A. also offered the German side to promote the introduction of digital and green economy in the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
