Press conference held in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

Today, August 2, 2021 in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan on the implementation of the order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 15, 2011 No. AP-1729 "On the plan for organizing and holding press conferences in ministries, agencies, organizations and institutions, authorities of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous region , regions, the city of Dushanbe and in cities and districts of republican subordination ”held a press conference on the results of the first half of 2021.

The press conference was organized with the participation of a wide range of employees of domestic and foreign media (more than 22 people) under the leadership of the Ministry.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, dear Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, presented a detailed overview of the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the Ministry in the first half of 2021. Along with this, press releases for media representatives in Russian and Tajik were presented.

During the press conference, the heads and structural divisions of the central office of the ministry answered the questions of mass media correspondents on various issues of the socio-economic situation of the country, including the activities of free economic zones, the impact of possible risks of the COVID 19 pandemic on the national economy, the export of various types of agricultural and industrial products produced in the country, processing and export of cotton fiber, the digital economy, etc.
