On February 9, 2021, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, First Deputy Minister Solehzoda Ashurboy Abduvohid met with the head of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Muneo Takasaka.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the relationship development with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), including building the capacity of the Secretariat of the National Development Council under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, training specialists in socio-economic fields through training courses and joint programs. and other areas of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to bring bilateral relations between Tajikistan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to a new level and quality.
