Meeting of the Minister of economic development and trade with the World Bank delegation

Today at the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan the Minister, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, met with the World Bank delegation headed by Mr. Jan-Peter Olters.

The purpose of the visit of the World Bank delegation was to exchange views on the implementation of the Digital CASA Tajikistan project aimed at the development of regional trade and integration, improving the country's competitiveness in the world arena through the introduction of digital foundations.

Also during the meeting, the parties discussed the development of the next medium-term development program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025 and the involvement of consultants of the World Bank for its development, the concept of the digital economy and the training on its basis of specialists of the international level of the national program of digital economy of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop cooperation in these areas.
