The grant contract was signed between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the German Development Bank (KFW)

On August 25, 2023, the signing ceremony of the “Contract between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the German Development Bank (KFW)” was held with the participation of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and Regional Director of the German Development Bank in Central Asia Andreas Schneider.

Under this contract, 13.97 million euros in the form of a grant was allocated for the implementation of the project "Support for the development of general secondary education and access to water supply, sanitation and hygiene facilities in remote areas" for the construction of educational institutions in Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as in the city of Dushanbe .

It should be noted that since the start of the project “Support for the development of general secondary education and access to water supply, sanitation and hygiene in remote areas”, a total of 44.1 million euros has been attracted by the European Union and Germany in the form of a grant.
