An international forum of inventors and innovators dedicated to the International Intellectual Property Day was held

On April 25, 2024, an international forum of inventors and innovators of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the hall of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dushanbe on the initiative of the state institution "National Patent Information Center" of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, dedicated on April 26 as the "International Intellectual Property Day" under the motto "inventions, from idea to product".

 The event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, scientists from scientific and educational institutions, industry specialists and experts, entrepreneurs and representatives of the private sector, as well as inventors at home and abroad, especially from the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Eurasian Patent Organization, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

The International Forum of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tajikistan consisted of a solemn meeting and sections on the topics “Inventions and innovations and their role in the development of the country's economy”, “Study and popularization of inventions”, “Assessment of intellectual property and opportunities for commercialization of inventions”, participants presented informative reports in accordance with previously approved topics.

 In connection with the achievements of inventors, an exhibition was held within the framework of this forum, booklets and brochures in the form of information about registered inventions were presented to the guests.

 The main purpose of the forum is to promote the development of invention, the introduction of inventions into production, the development of human potential, and the search for a mechanism to support and encourage inventors and innovators.
